Another Vessel in Communication With Helpless Vessel.
£>y Telegraph—Press Assnriation—Copyrigb' Auslra'iua and N.Z. Cable Association. Rec June 9, morning Melbourne, June 8. The steamer Havre has been adrift in the Tasmaii Sea since Saturday. The vessel is short of coal. The tug Champion is searching. Rec. June 9, 9.55 a.m Melbourne, June 9. The master of the steamer Havre has wirelessed that the vessel is at-her last gasp and is incapable of sufficient steam to keep seaway. He is utilising everything that can be burned, including the ship's furniture. The Australand, bound from London to Melbourne, is in communication with the Havre and expects to reach the latter on Friday.
