The Deragat column has further advanced. A camp has been established on the plateau of Paizharaghza, 2h miles below Dwatoi. Progress was not molested except by a few snipers. The operations have assumed a punitive character, and whole villages are being utterly destroyed. The tribesmen are hurrying their families and property into valleys that are remote from our line of march.
