Acute Rheumatism is the in-nanm-.ation of a membrane known as the synovial membrane, which lines the joints, and v.llch also extends to various parts of the body apart, Iroru the joints. Wherever this membrane extends Acute Rheumatism may. This phase of Rheumatism is hereditary, and is not necessarily caused by exposure, as is supposed. Muscular Rheumatism is more of the nature of Neuralgia..
