IN exorcise of the powers vested i.v ma by the Animals Protection *ct 1906, f Arthur William de Brito Xavile, Hiari of Liverpool, tho Oov- < rnor-Uencral of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby exempt, from the operation of sectiou twentysix of the said Act the Tauranga Vcclimatizatiou District, and do hereby notify that the following imported gams—viz.. cock phensantß and Californian quail—may be killed within the Tauranga <\cclimatizauon District, comprising the County of Tauranga (except in the areas tnentioDpd vn the fx-hedula hereto), from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to the thirty first day of July, on? thousand nine hundred and nineteen, both days inclusive. And Ido further not'fy that license to kill such imported game within the said district shall bo issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that, the Postmasters at Fnuranga, Katikati, Paengaroa, and Te Puke ara hereby appointed to sign and issue the said licenses to kill imported game

And I do further notify than the following native game— viz., grey duck, teal, and black swan—may be killed within the above.aipntioued district (except ia she areas meutioned in the Schedule hereto) from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to the thirtyfirst da> of July, one thousand ninhundred aud nineteen, both days inclusive; and do hereby restrict the number of such native game that may be killed by any pc sod in auy one day to not more than twenty-five head in all S^HUDUJ-E. .
