WHEAT FROM AUSTRALIA
Wellington, July 17 The Government haa.brought 2,000, 000 bushels of wheat. in Victoria to make up tho shortage in various parts of Few Zealand. Ihe Minister for Agriculture stated to-day that the threshing returns revealed a considerable thoitago of say-in. There v/as also th 3 fact that some miliars, particularly in the South, said thoy were in urgent need of Australian wheat for mixing. The whole matter had bceu thoroughly discussed with farmers, with tha result that the information available for Government indicated tt probable decrease in the area that would be sown ia wheat this
year.
