t( The Dumb Genius, " a film wiih a chimpanzee for star, is certainly a novel production. Jacko is almost human and plays the part of detective, in which a most sensational chase takes place and Jacko eventually makes his way to the top of a cathedral tower, c itching' up tiles from the roof and fighting his human pursuers at. a dizzy height. After jumping to a train going at full speed under a bridge, burling hinisslf out again, climbing tall poles, racing along telegraph wires, he makes his way to a circus where a trapeze act is in full swing. Jacko enters at the. apex of the roof and causes a great stir. At last lie runs for shelter to a trunk, enters it and locks himself in. He is shown at the last in striped prison clothes, safely behind prison bars. School children will be admitted free to see this pieturei
