Gable Assoc Rec Jan 17, 8 45 a m London, Jan 16 Mr Ward Price, the Daily Mail's war correspondent, writing from Salonika in answer to the question : " What are ye doing at Salonika ?". says: " Our objects are to cub the Berlin-Baghdad railway, and sever the German connection with her .Eastern .Allies ; also to re-fashion the Balkans, and thwart the German scheracs. If the Germans had reached Salooika they would have built a Kiel pu the Mediterranean and Egypt would have boen threatened by a fleet as sfcroug. as .that in the North Sea. By re-establishing Serbia we fulfil our duty to our ajly and build the Slavs across the tideway of German ambicio,n."
