Lands Department to Furnish Report.
Wellington, Jan 22.
A deputation from Te Puke waited upon the Piirne Minister yesterday and asked that the Government should take steps to drain the Kaituna Swamp in the Bay of Plenty on the lines that had proved successful in other swamp areas
Mr Massey promised to secure a report from the officers of the Lands Department on the subject.
