The Herald's F^ondon correspondent interviewed Lord Derby, Director of Recruiting, who said: —"We will h3ne on and fight until the Gemans are thoroughly thrashed. The British Epraire will find men to do it. The call fnr volunteers had been more than gratifying. You Pea-.Jbgw they are oouring in from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and all outposts. Many thousands are paying their way for the proud privilege of fighting for the Motherland."
