Mr D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, wired today as follows:—
The indications are- for westerly winds, moderate to strong, prevailing and freshening. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable. Weather clouding over ; rain later. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency. Seas aud rides moderate.
