Bulgaria's Policy.
Rec Oct A, 8.30 a.m. Sofia, Oct 3. A semi-oflicial statement, replying to the French and Russian Press, says ibat Bulgaria has mobilised her army in order to face the new situation and to assure her national existence and the future. She has threatened nobody, hoping still for a pacific settlement of her interests taking place. Th« seriii-official journal Narodni Prava says the Government was in nowise following a policy of adventure. The country can rest assured that the Government will not adopt any hasty action and if obliged to make armed intervention such action will only be taken after all peaceful methods have been exhausted. The Turco-Bulgarian agreement was the first fruits of the Government's policy and other successes will follow. Rumania's Attitude. j Rec Oct 3, 2.40 p.m. -Bucharest, Oct 2. M. Bratianu, Premier, replying to a Parliamentary • delegation, urging mobilisation, disagreed with the opinion that the hour had struck for Rumania's entry into the war. It would, he said, be unwise to make any declaration regarding tne situation at present. Bombs from Aeroplanes. Rec Oct 3, 12.5 p.m. *jish, Oct 3. An official statement says:— Seven enemy aeroplanes, on September 29th, dropped sixty bombs on Pojarevatz, killing a civilian and two soldieri. Six aeroplanes, on September 30tn, bombed Kragujevacs. We brought down one machine, the aviators being burned to death. Turkish Statement. Rec Oct 4, 8.30 a.m. ! r , Amsterdam, Oct 3. A Turkish communique records:- • Near Seddul Bahr we silenced some enemy batteries. We destroyed a portion of his trenchss on toe left wing and exploded a mine by a countermine on the right wing. A Russian Demand. Rec Oct 4, 1.15 p.m. Mew Xork, Oct 3. A Petrograd message states that the Russian Minister at Ssfia has been orderea to depart unless Bulgaria, within twenty-four hours, breaks with the Teutons and dismisses the AustioGerman officers now in Bulgaria.
