Mira Ivanova nursed aod tendered the wounded in the thick of a battle, on September 21, until all the officers, including her brother had fallen and the meu were wavering. Mira realised that the moment was critical. She rallied the remnants, chargtd at their head, aud captured a trench. She was then struck in the head by a bullet and soon died.
