A ahoot for the gold rr.edal presented by Mr G. Hume was held on the Club's range, Sulphur Point, yesterday afternoon, the possible being ten bird*. The following are the results; — Handicap yds Birds ! R. Cook 2 5 9 I W, Tanner 14 0 A. Findlay 8 8 G. Briwn 14 8 j E. Chadban 16 7 J. Tanner 12 fi T. Quirk 16 fi B. O'Neill* 8 6 N." Quirk. 0 5 ILCook and W. 'laimer tied for first p'aee, K. Cook winning the sheot oft on the loth bird. A sweepstake was also fired, the possible being 5 birds. W. Tanner | and R. Cook tied with the possible, K. !Cook winning the shoot oif on the Bth ! bird.
