Germans Lose Three Army Corps.

A communique states : —
Latest reports enable us to daily gauge wore completely the importance of the success in the Champagne sad Artois regions. The Germans W ere expelled from stronglyeutrenuhed positions on an extended (nut. iv which they were ordered to resnt to the evil.
The total enemy losses exceed three army corps, including twentythree thousand prisoners. . We have brought thus far 79 c&ptured guns to the rear, and also seventeen thousand prisoners and 316 officers. The stocktaking of the abandoned material is in progress.
We captured east of Souchez yesterday Hill 140, which is the culliiinauugpoiut of the Vkny crests; also,tlic orchards southward. We took three hundred guardsmen prisoner).
The struggle continues at Champagne, a further thousand Germans surreuderiug north of jMassiges.
