PRISONERS OF WAR.
The following prisoners of war at Constantinople have been reported by the United States Consul to have been wounded and admitted to hospital at Constantinople on August 24 : Wellington Battalion— . Private T G Ashman, arm amputated, both knees wouuded Private J Russell, head, right leg Private J P Mavard, wounded both hands, slight; one eye lost Private L A Porter, wounded head aud hand Private A J Shoebridge, shattered arm No particulars of wouuda :—■ Private II Davie „ F J Earles „ B Greig ~ G McAueny ~ G F Monk „ W R Surgenor „ F L Sheppard j, T Gaffuey, hand amputation necessary Auckland Mounted Rifles— Trooper It Gowland
