STEPS TAKEN BY GREECE.
To Meet the Situation.
Athens, Sept 25 The King aud tin Premier (I\J. Veuezelos) have agreed, as to the necessary steps to be taken to meet the Balkans situation, including the maintenance of Greece's treaty obligations with Servia. A .decree ' has been promulgated, convoking the assembly of the Chamber for Wednesday next to pass martial law aud give the Government control of the railways so as to prohibit the transport of merchandise.
The National Bank of Greece will deposit £14,000,000 for mobilisation. The announcement everywhere was received enthusiastically. All Greek steamers have been requisitioned.
