Mr D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, wired to-day as follows ;—
The indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong, and freshening. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain probable. Barometer falling after about 10 hours. Seas moderate ; tides good with swell. Tides and sea increasing on coast.
