Shells Dropped on Royal Palace at Stuttgart.
IV-c Sept 23, 7 15 p m ■ i , • Paris, Sept 23 A communique states that as reprisals for the bombardment of open towns in England and France a squadron of aeroplanes dropped thirty shells on the Royal Palace at Stuttgart, and returned uninjnred. Rec Sept 23, 11 '25 p m Amsterdam, Sept 23 An official statement from Berlin says that the air raid on Stuttgart resulted in a number of soldiers being killed and some civilians wounded.
