ALLIES' LOAN TO BE UNDERWRITTEN.
Conference Between Bankers and Financiers.
Rec Sept 21, 8 50pm New York, Sept 20 An underwriting syndicate is in pngress-of formation to underwrite the Allies' loan. It is now certain that £1G0,000,000 will be secured. Pro-German financiers fire ready to join if the loan be not used for the payment and purchase of munitions. The Allied Com mission, however, will most probably refuse to consider this condition. The bonds run from five to ten years. Kec Sept 21, 1010 pm London, Sept 21 Renter's New York correspondent says conferences between bankers and financiers resulted in a decision from a country-wide syndicate to underwrite' the A Mies' loan, It is estimated that thirty thousand iustitutions will'participate in the uudei- ■ writing. It is expected to raise six hundred million dollars with a first lien on the revenues of France aud Great Britain.
