A military decision prohibiting treatiug as essential to the well-being of the troops affects the metropolitan police district, embracing seven hundred square miles. The order will prcbablv be issued on Tuesday. It applies to clubs and restaurants as well as saloons. Anyone paying for another or giving him money to p.iy or anyone serving drink, except to the person paying, is liable to punishment.
