BRITISH FLEET BOMBARDS OSTEND.
Fortifications Destroyed and Thousands of Lives Lost.
The High Commissioner, under date London, Sept 19, 540 pm, states it is reported from Amsterdam that the British fleet destroyed the breakwater, fortifications, 'and all enemy boats and works. The German losses reached tho Isauds of men.
