Contact Between Russian
Forces Broken.
Rec Sept 19, 2.30 p m Petrograd, Sept 17 Military experts say that thirteen German cavalry divisions, with guns and quickn'rers, are operating iv the Svirtziany region. the Jaeger Keginiont are using motors for their manoeuvres and have broken the contact between the Kusforces in the Dvinsk and Vilna districts. In the latter area there is uninterrupted caunonaiHug and frequeat bouibdroppiug is proceeding. Three Geinian aeroplanes were brought down recently. The evacuation of Government-' institution? is completed and thousauds of workmen have quitted the factories.
