Roc Sept 14, 2.5 p in, Amsterdam, Sept lo A German communique state? :— General Hiudeuburg ejected the Russians from several positions between F/iedrickstadt and Jaeobstadt. The Russians further s^uth are avoiding engagement and we are pursuing them thirty kilometres southward of Jaeobstadt. Our advance is vigorously proceeding at Yilia. Below Vilua we reached the Vilnn-Dvinsk-Petrograd railway at se/eral points. Pursuit of the enemy continues east of Grodno. We repulsed several strong counterattacks on the r.ower Zelwisuka and captured 3,300 prisoners on Sunday. Prince Leopold's army captured a thousand retreatiug Russians. General Mackeusen has broken the Russian, resistance un the entire front and is continuing pursuit in the direction of Piusk.
