Ree Sept 13, 9 3-5 a in Petrograd, Sept 12 We held up the euemy towards Rozhany and ivovno. The Austrian attacks were resumed on both banks of the Goryn. We held up the enemy oa the right baus despite the use of poisonous gases. Several detaebmeuts were destroyed by our fire. We bvoko the enemy's obstinate opposition in the Tarnopol region ou' Saturday. Prisoners state that a newly-formed battalion of Chasseurs was entiiely destroyed. The enemy fled, leaving thirty-nine officers and 2,900 men in our hands, A company of motor quickfirers actively helped us. The enemy has retreated toward? the Dniester. fc
