Mr D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, wired to-day as follows:—
The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale and freshening. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Mucli rain is to be expected in the beginning of the week. Barometer falling after about 24 hours. Tides and sea increasing. Seas heavy : tides high.
