y" Amsterdam Jan 1 Aviator Jtlewlett, interviewed, said he ras m<to a fog and found himself in the vicinity of the Schleswig coas*, and bore Mown behicd Ouxhaveu over German territory. When the fog cleared he found he had lost his bearinrgs and he flew over a great German ft-at and a number of trawlers behind /Heligoland. Aterrifie fire was op.ned on him. He dropped several bombs and believed he hit a warship, as smoke was rising from her. Later his motor ran hot I and he was forced to descend, alighting near a Dutch trawler. He sank his seaplane before leaving.
