Slaughter prices commence at Bateman's on Saturday next, and from that date for one week only all millinery will be reduced to half price. Various other bargains will be offered, and bargain-hunters are advised to watch Mr Bateman's advertising space for future announcements. It is claimed for the Vega separator that it stands for one of the best in the separator line, and anyone wanting a new machine can inspect this excellent article at Messrs Young and jKnnp's store where the several sizes are now opened out. The agents state that the prices arc exceptionally low for a high grade Swedish separator, being just half what has been charged for similar high grade machines. This, it is pointed out, is a great consideration and trials are given to support the contention that this is one of the best all round machines on the market. Farmers are urged to at once close this separator bargain, both from an economical poiut of view and from the splendid work the machine will execute. A special clearing sale lasting 21 days will ' commence at Mr A. W. Edwards', the new Hoot, Shce, and Gent's Outfitting Store, the Strand, tomorrow. Every article is to bo reduced as the whole of the stock must be sold to make room for now season's goods to arrive shortly.
