There are now twelve thousand strikers at Woolwich. Through the hands at the power station joining the strikers all the machinery has been stopped. A wild [scene occurred when two thousand strikers at the gate of the Arsenal attacked two non-unionists for attempting to enter. The police rescued the non-unionists. London, July 7 Mr Asquith, Prime Minister, announced in the House of Commons that a Court of five persons, with Sir George Asquith as Chairman, is inquiring into the Woolwich strike.
