AN OROPI MATTER

A petition was received at the meeting of the County Council yesterday from Mr U. Thomasscn, Oropi, and thirty-eight other settlers, bringing under the notice of the Council the 'urgent necessity of having the road formed between Oropi and Te Puke, the (.listairje being about nine miles.
