CRITICISM FROM HEAVEN
Quebec, June G Commissioner Mackie has arrived and will take charge of Salvation Army affairs. He asserts that the terrible losses the Army sustained in the Empress disaster were a direct criticism from heaven. The Army will endeavour to find the faults which caused it to receive a divine rebuke. LETTER FROM BLOOMFIELD FAMILY The last letter which the BloomMeld family wrote was received by a Vancouver cadet acquaintance. They wrote from Quebec, giving their impressions ot1 the Rocky Mountains' scenery and thanked their Vancouver friends for their hospitality. Ottawa, June 7 The Empress of Ireland Enquiry Commission Bill has been read a third time in the Senate.
