Tho hearty response to the call for entries for tho second ninual show to be held on Thursday i.ext under the auspices of the Katikati Agricultural and Pastoral Association must bo highly gratifying to tho executive of that organisation. Tho light horse section has idled well, especially the classes for horse under 15.2, horso II _ or under, trotter, walker, lOst and l_st hacks, troop horse, lady's hack and pony over 1. hands bnt under 112. The draught division will b_ well represented, the best entry being a dozen in the class for light spring cart horses. There will be au excellent show of cattle, fully indicative of the dairying and stock raising industries.
