At Tuesday night's meeting of the Borough Council the following letter was received from the Under-Seerc-tary of the Department of Lauds and Survey :•— "Refening to your letter of the Wthiiwt 1 have to .inform you that in the year 1890, 5 acres ;) roods 21 perches was reserved for cemetery purposes* and placed under the control ot tk Tauranga Borough Council, as trustees, by warrant published in the $Z Gazette of the 17th August, 1903, page 11)92.
