MART REPORT
Messrs Wilson and Robbins report the Market sale on Saturday last fully sustained prices, and in most of the lines a alight advance in values ruled, especially in fruit. Potatoes are plentiful and prices are lower. Onions show a steady advance, and all good descriptions find a ready sale. There were several irquiries for weancrs, but none came forward. The poultry pens were well filled, but prices were lower than on the. previous Saturday. Many we're disappointed by there, not being any fre:=h pork in the sale. Frit*)* were as follows: Potatoes ;n (id to <5s cwt, maize is and Is 3d, bushel, onions 2d'l'- pumpkins, marrows, cabbages ar.d other vegetablesold well at good prices, bacon and bam made 11.1 lb, apples 3s <»d to Is ob, pears 3s to 3s Od, passion fruit h\c fowls Is 3d to 1? 7d each, ducks Is 3d to Is od. The usual lot of general goods and household "furniture was sold.
