THIEVES CAPTURED. London, June I. A daring robbery is reported. Messrs Freeman and Company, jewel merchants, a day auo, deposited in the cloakroom at King's Cross railway station a heavily-ironed box containing" jewellery valued at iMUOU, with the intention of entraining it next morning. During the evening a supposed district messenger asked that the box be removed to another cloakroom, and thus secured a second ticket. A cab drove up at Jive o'clock in the morning, a man presented the second ticket, and the porters lifted the box to the cab. When the proper messenger from Messrs Freeman and Company presented the ticket, the theft was discovered. A reward of £500 is being offered for the recovery of the box. London, June ">.
