Massey, as Minister dI Lands, for a grant of 1100 for the purpose of fencing and passing a stock paddock, at the boundary of the Tauranga and Piako Counties on Thompson's Track, upon a site reserved by the Lands Department for that purpose, and this Council desires to respectfully submit that the cost of this work should be met by the State, as being one of public necessity. Hefries, M.l\, as the representative of the districts immediately interested, and to the Chairman of the I'iako County Council, soliciting that Council's co-operation in the matter upon th« understanding tlmt
