The fire spread to the neighbouring buildings/
Mr Bennett Burleigh, the London Daily Telegraph's war correspondent, said that two aviators bi-planed over Adrianople and observed that Selim Mosque and the most important buildings in the town werb undamaged, The Turks fired a ehellfrom a gun* pit, and just missed the aeroplane. Kurdish women are aiding their husbands in digging trenches and laying in provisions at Adrianople. The surrounding country is .practicallydevastated, and supplies can only come from Constantinople This will necessitate'the-- Bulgarians conceding the use of the railways.
