COMMITTED FOR BURGLARY.

Two young respactably-dressed men named James Brown (alias Graham) and Robert Thomas were committed for tentence yesterday in connection with the Royal Hotel burglary. (Brown was committed for the major offence, and Thomas for receiving money, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained. Both men have confessed. Late on Saturday last Brown entered the bar by a window which had been previously left unlocked, robbed the cash register and return rd to the hotel where he boarded. The police found the greater part of the money irf**his possesion, and a few pound* on Thomas who while declining to take an active part in the burglary, had no scruples in sharing in the plundei.
