AGAINST RESUMPTION.
Three groups of eollertes in Lancashire and one in SUUTondshiro have inaugurated a ballot, on the question of resuming work, but tho votin_- wiiss against the resumption oi work, pending- the settlement of * "■ scale of wages. A similar feeling against resumption is in evidence at Cannock Chs».se. but. the result of the -hallot there has not been announced.
