Air F. Donovan forwarded his resignation, but tne meeting insiructeti UU-secretary- to write and request air Donovan to reconsider his uecision. July 13th was fixed as the nate tor the Winter Show. It was decided to ask Mr Ucrridgc, manager of the Government Experimental Farm at Tauranga. to act as judge of agricultural produce. The following judges were appointed for the various other sections „f the Show -.—lndustrial, Dread, Cakes, etc., Mr P.ell ; Needlework, Mesdames J. MeGhie and Nome, Miss McCracken ; Writing Mr O. J. Hodge. Stewards were appointed as under -.—Writing, ]L>\ S . H o !,bs and Xorri--. Butter, Mr M. J. Stanton. Poultry, Messrs 11. Douglas, 11. A. Yercoe, Rostock ami Serjeant. Produce, Messrs Pruilen, Ryburn and Barrow. Industrial, Mesdames Yercoe. Bennett. and Ryburn, Misses Hurray and Douglas. Guessing Competition, Mr R. Bradford. Afternoon Tea, Mesdames Dowel 1, T. Lemon and O'Callaghan. Doorkeeper, Mr W. Harrow. Mr Arthur was elected as assistant secretary. It was decided to request the Agricultural Department to favour the Show with an exhibit.
