DEATH IN A CHEMIST'S SHOP
The death cf a woman, who appeared to be about SO years of age and in good circumstances, occurred at Brighton (Victoria) last wetk. The woman called at a chemist's shop. She immediately had a fit of coughing, and could Hot speak for about 10 minutes. She recovered slightly and said to the proprietor, " I appear to have lost my breath. I think it is my heart. Oh ! lam going !" The chemist gave her some spirits of ether, and sent for a doctor, but before the doctor arrived she had expired. In a handbag was found some money and several mourning cards with the name *' Mrs W. B. Franklin, Cremorne Horufi, Owmorne," printed on them ; also a return saloon ticket of the P. and O. S.N. Company from Sydney to Melbourne, issued, in the name of Mrs D. Franklin.
