ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association) NELSUN, MarclTßo. An explosion occurred at the Inner Glynn coal mine today through a miner named John Tilley entering the shaft with a naked light. TiJley was badly burned about the head and was taken to the hospital. A shooting accident occurred at Lake Rotoroa on Tuesday when a man named Grater, a resident of Murehison, received severe injuries to his arm. At the time of the accident he was getting out of a boat when his gun went off unexpectedly. William Porter died at Pokororo early this morning from the effects of a riding accident, lie was found lying on the road at 1 am. and was taken to a shed. On the shed being visited at 8 o'clock it was found that Porter was dead.
