A. Bothuno, who has keen in?agecl here for some weeks i n auditing the puiblic accounts, expects to leave for Rotorua to-morrow. Mr and 'Mrs Mark Berry, of Kingslanrt, who have been visiting relatives at Otumoetni, left on their return to Auckland hy Friday's boat. Mrs C. O. Oibbs and Miss CHbbs, of "Ohauiti," lft on Friday on a holiday trip to southern ports. ."Mrs Gibbs intends travelling as far as Dunedin. Master H. Smith (son of Mr" J. Smith, T\V Puk») "who won a free place at the last scholarship examination, left for Auckland on 'Saturday to enter the 'Auckland Technical Schoof. The friends of Mr J. A. MoKenaie —who recently met with an accident t at Toatoa, near Opotik-i, a s the result of a heavy log falling, joiikrm —will be pleased to brar that h- is so far recovered as to be ablb to get about again.
