A fatal mistake.
Melbourne, March 8. — Dr Williams, of Fitzroy, injected what he supposed to be cocaine into a patient, named Mrs Turner, and afterwards, following his usual habit, injected his own arm. The doctor collapsed, while driving home, and died in a few hours. Mrs Turner is in a critical condition. It ha 8 since been discovered that the chemist's assistant supplied Dr Williams with atrophine, a deadly poison, instead of cocaine.
