While tbe Australian colonies are starting shipments of lire cattle to England, the same thing is beiog done by Argentinian pastoral ist?, by whom much interest is being taken in the A ustralian shipments. The Argentine animals, according to the Buenos Ayres Standard, are not of the higH class of the Anstralian cattle which went Home last .year. At the same, time, the Argentine trade appears to' be growing fast, as $12 be seen from; the following 4etails.of .the fcplgUtiengagements, dated 'January 2lst :<— 'The export olfat steers from here to •England continues brisk, and Kingsland is expecting four regnjar (North American cattle, steamers— one !with space for 600 steers, and tbe jother three for 300 steers each. He haa engaged steamers for the next {two months to convey 6,QjX) and 30,000 sheep to England, liv the steamer WMlishad, at present aground in the Biachuelo Channel, Mr Kingsland has shipped 254 bullocks ; and 2,000 sheep for London. He is loading in the Muschen, of the same" line. This trade is growing fast, and we pan compete with Australian growers, s as we have an enormous advantage in distance from the great markets of • consumption. ■ ' T
