Classical Department qfttie North London Collegiate School, CamdenToMHi. During the past fifteen years he has! turned out no fewer than- 100 plays, 70 of which have been important dramas. Last autumn he had no fewer than 46 plays running lat the same time— -5 in London, 22 ■' in the provinces, 10 in America, and 9in Australia. .
His pieces have been produced in such far away places as the Cape of Good Hope,. India, Hong Kong. Canada, and the Straits Settlements, from all of which places he has received fees for the right to perform. Not the least interesting fact is that no fewer than hail a million people are being entertained by him every week. Mr. Tettitt's manuscript for a new play is a highly interesting sight. As originally written, with all the scenes and dialogues as first arranged, the mass of paper meiasures three feet in height. This is finally weeded dowq until the. four-act drama does not measure moit tjian a couple of inches of manuscript.
