HORSE STEALING.
William Smith, charged with horse stealing at Waihi, was found not guilty. Edward Howell, for horse stealing at Cambridge, was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment. Thomas Kennedy, for horse stealing waR sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment.
