JDkpaetubbs — October. 15 — Clansman, s.s., 443 tons, Farquhar, for Auckland. Passengers — Mesdames Clayton, Snodgrass and family, Miss Baylie, Messrs Walters and Armitage. 15 — Tokerau, cutter, 35 tons, Nonis, for ■v ' Mercury Bay. 16 -Douglas, 5.8., 40 tons, Austin, for Auckland with through passengers. The s.s. Touglas is to leave Auckland for Tauranga via Tairua to-night, and will leav» here for Opotiki to-morrow evening. The s.s. Ohau is to leave Dunedin to-mor-row, calling at the usual ports, and may be ezpeoted to reach Tauranga on the 26th inst. Owing to the strong westerly gale which prevailed on Friday the s.l. Kesult did not leave for Katikati till Saturday afternoon. The cutters Venus and Spitfire bound for Auckland from the coast, and which put in at the Mount on Friday, continued their Toyago next morning. The H.M.S. Nelson is to be handed over to W. S. Wales, and the Northampton will relieve her on the Australian station as flagship.
