Lord Carrington gave a dinner to poor children at Sydney. Jubilee Exhibition opened at Adeluide. W : Processions of the volunteers and Friendly Societies at Napier, Chrißtchurch and Greymouth. At Napier 3000 children with banners flying sang the National Anthem. Industrial Exhibition opened at Auckland by Sir George Grey.
