SINCLAIR AND (HLLIEB SCHOLAESHIPS. mWO SCHOLARSHIPS of the JL annual value of One Hundred Pounds each, tenable for three years, will be awarded in November next. These Scholarships are open to all persons born in the Colony of New Zealand who at the time of examination, shall be between the ages of sixteen and twenty years, and who shall satisfy the Council that they would not be able to obtain a University education without pecuniary aid. Candidates must pass a preliminary examination in elementary mathematics ; and each Candidate will be examined in two or three of the following subjects : — (1) Chemistry, (2) Physics, (3) j Zoology, (4), Botany, (5) Geology.
