Friday Among the bills to be brought in by Government next session will be one ~ relating to the planting and conservation of forests, dealing with fisheries, and one consolidating Public Trustee's Acts. The question of reducing the commission charged for collecting rents on native reserves is now under consideration of the Colonial Treasurer^ and H- jk is probable a very considerable reducjflßt tion will be made. The Native Minister considers present charges far too high. The Government have received official information that .the million and a -half New Zealand loan has been placed on the London market at a minimum of 97^.
